about us

We are three undergraduate music majors attending school in California and participating in an Oxford-style Socratic great-books honors program.

I like reading and ice cream. Not equally, of course. Ice cream always takes precedence.

I have a penchant for smelling books, which means that even if I'm not reading, my nose is generally in one.  I used to be purely a tea person and now I love my coffee nearly-black.  I decided at 3 that I wanted to play violin and now I'm majoring in it. I've also wanted to be able to read since I can ever remember, and I'm still learning how to do it well.
I write words because they will keep drifting circles in my head if I don't write them down. I write them to try to organize myself in the world, and in God, and God in the world, and the world in God.
You can find me at Under the Mercy.

I read books to procrastinate from playing piano and play music to procrastinate from reading books. The system usually works fairly well, except when it doesn't.
I love sleep. and food. i wish i could do both at the same time.
I hate country music and love Chopin. Sometimes I make weird nicknames for people because it annoys them. I read books ridiculously fast and mostly all in one sitting. I love T.H. White and Bastille.
I write for rememberance.
